House Soft Washing, Pressure Washing, and Concrete Cleaning in Summerville, SC

I received an exterior cleaning request to do a house soft wash for a large property located in Summerville, SC. The customer also requested concrete cleaning for their front porch, walkway, and driveway. After protecting the property, we discovered significant green algae growth (Gloeocapsa Magma) on the North side of the home. The concrete on the property also had significant organic growth that had settled in over the last few years. With our commercial grade 20” surface cleaner and two professional soft wash systems we knew we could have this home sparkling clean in a matter of a few hours.

After assessing the property we look for any safety issues, implement property protection procedures including vegetation, and take time-stamped photographs of any pre-existing damage for the customer. We began by pre-treating all the concrete to have ample time to kill any organic growth while we tackled the algae on the vinyl siding of the house. Our safe and bio-degradable cleaning solution melted away the green algae within minutes of application. We then use our pressure washer at a very safe and low setting for the rinsing process as to not damage the vinyl or any other items on the property. It is amazing to see how new the house looks again after we remove all the dirt, grime, and algae!

After completing the house soft wash we moved onto the front porch and removed a bunch of dead insects, cobwebs, dirt, and more organic growth from the underside of the front porch ceiling. We then used our 20” surface cleaner and high-pressure wand to clean all concrete on the property. After we rinse the driveway, sidewalk, and front porch concrete we finish up by applying a post-treatment designed to improve appearance and continue to kill any residual organic growth.

This job was another testament to soft washing as a proper method for cleaning homes. The customer was beyond happy, and we ended up doing his neighbors house and driveway the following week!
